A typical passover supper included serving lamb during the meal. This symbolism brings us all the way back to when the Israelites were escaping Egypt and were told to put lamb’s blood over the doors of all the houses to protect them from the last plague. During the last supper, which took place during the passover, Jesus only provided bread and wine to the disciples and many people have questioned why he didn’t provide lamb. Listen to this week’s message to hear Pastor Mark’s explanation on where the lamb went.
