Posted by Matt Tuttle On January - 10 - 2010Comments Off

A typical passover supper included serving lamb during the meal. This symbolism brings us all the way back to when the Israelites were escaping Egypt and were told to put lamb’s blood over the doors of all the houses to protect them from the last plague. During the last supper, which took place during the passover, Jesus only provided bread and wine to the disciples and many people have questioned why he didn’t provide lamb. The inside is bigger than it looks on the outside.

The stable in Bethlehem probably didn’t look like much to the average eye. But God used that simple stall for something bigger, for a king. C.S. Lewis used this concept in the Chronicles of Narnia by using something as simple as a wardrobe to enter into an entirely different world. Appearances are not always what they seem and God uses the unlikeliest of circumstances to prove a point.

Is Jesus a liar, a lunatic, or Lord?

In C.S. Lewis’ book “The Chronicles of Narnia” the character Lucy is accused of being a liar when returning from the land of Narnia.
